Research Science Institute (RSI)
RSI is a cost-free for students, science & engineering program to combine on-campus course work in scientific theory with off-campus work in science and technology research. Participants draft and execute a research plan, and deliver conference-style oral and written reports on their findings.

PPPL Summer
PPPL's Science Education department offers internship positions for high school seniors throughout the summer after graduation. Each term lasts about 8 weeks and offers students the chance to work on a project with a member of their research/engineering staff.

MITES/MOSTEC
Minority Introduction to Engineering and Science (MITES) is a six-week residential academic enrichment program for high school seniors. The MOSTEC program helps scholars learn about tech in science and engineering, and receive college application process support. All at no cost.

The Teen Trillionare
The Teen Trillionaire helps provide teenagers with the resources to become more financially independent. They provide teens with someone to listen to their needs and guide them accordingly. Teenagers will be ready to take control of their credit score, insurance, or future student loans.

NIH Biomedical Research
High School SIP provides a summer of working at the NIH with some of the leading scientists in the world, in an environment devoted exclusively to biomedical research. The NIH consists of the 240-bed Mark O. Hatfield Clinical Research Center and more than 1150 laboratories/research projects located.

NYU ARISE
This free program is for students with interest in STEM. This mostly virtual, seven-week program includes a 5-week research experience in NYU faculty labs. Participants will contribute to the lab’s research objectives, which span engineering, life sciences, and computer & data sciences.

Tech360
In this program, students will learn the fundamentals of web design and development from AOT instructors and software engineers. You'll learn HTML & CSS, public speaking skills, and industry insights. Courses typically take place within companies and are taught by tech professionals.

UPenn Grasp Lab
Through innovative, inter-disciplinary faculty research projects, GRASP leverages unique collaborations across fields to advance the knowledge base of robotics. The GRASP Laboratory is a robotics research space defined by its scholarly and creative approach to robotics, science, and technology.

The Summer Science Program
SSP is a unique immersion experience with a strong culture that has evolved over more than half a century. It is talented young people discovering their limits, then overcoming them through collaboration. Each participant gains a deep understanding of what actually doing science feels like.

Biomedical Research
The Bioforce program offers NYC students a foundation of life science research skills. Phase I of the program is training and covering the basics of experimental biology, lab safety, and more. Phase II sees students placed in internships working with a grad student/mentor on research project daily.

Detester Magazine Team Members
Detester Magazine, founded in 2019, is a space and platform in which active minority young confront important socio-political issues through creative expression. We have leadership and staff positions available including content creators, website designers, and social media coordinators.
HK Maker Lab
The HK Maker Lab is a 6 week summer program to learn the foundations of design. Focusing on addressing a health problem, participants will create a biomedical device and develop a business plan. The program will culminate in a presentation to leading executives in the biomedical community.

SF Writing Program
This program was created by award-winning teen writer, Sarah Frank! The SF Writing Program is a free self-paced program for aspiring writers! There are worksheets, questions, advice, activities, and techniques for many topics including plot, characters, pacing, poetry, and more!

QuaranTEEN Readers
A reader would upload weekly reading videos onto their Kids/Parents page! These videos are meant for children, but the books can be at any reading level and any language: if you can speak languages outside of English and would be willing to read in multiple languages, that would be great!
Kara Tutoring
If you did well on your SAT, ACT, and APs, look into becoming a tutor for Kara Tutoring! It is an international student-run tutoring initiative dedicated to providing free one-to-one tutoring for students in financial need. if you are looking for free tutoring, Kara Tutoring is for you as well!

Online Student Volunteer Tutors
Learn To Be is committed to help K-12 underserved youth in math, science, reading and writing. Tutors can teach wherever and whenever is most convenient. In joining this community, you will be able to connect with PhD's, NASA scientists, engineers, writers and historians in our community.

We Rise Above Team Members
We Rise Above is a student-led organization that educates students about sexual harassment/ assault/domestic violence. Volunteers can work with different companies to raise awareness through workshops, seminars, interviews, blogs, and more.
Vitality Volunteers
Vitality Volunteers aims to help connect volunteers to global organization dedicated to improve the health of the community and increase awareness of diseases. Vitality volunteers will help by participating in a range of events and tasks such as fundraisers and campaigns.

SportHi Ambassadors
SportsHi is a high school sports network, empowering students to be active and engaged with both sports and their communities. As an ambassador, you are expected to create promotional content and learn skills about social media, marketing and design.

Grise for Aphasia Volunteer
Aphasia is a disorder where there is neurological damage that causes the inability to produce speech and often writing. Grise for Aphasia's mission is to spread awareness for aphasia and to take action to create a impact. They are accepting applications for people to join their efforts.
